Vision

Why InTune exists.

Mental-health support exists on a spectrum. InTune explores the space in between.

The spectrum today

The idea

Not every conversation requires psychotherapy.

There are situations where someone may primarily need:

But that does not mean the person should be left alone with a chatbot.

The InTune hypothesis

Human support + structured training + AI assistance + professional escalation could create a valuable additional layer of support.

Principles

Human first. AI second. Professionals when needed.

Human first

The relationship remains human. The value of the session comes from one person being present with another.

AI second

AI provides assistance to the Supporter. It is not a participant in the relationship and the client never has to interact with it.

Professionals when needed

Situations beyond the Supporter's role should have an appropriate path toward qualified professional assistance.

The problem

The accessibility gap.

Professional mental-health care is valuable, but access can be limited by:

Meanwhile, AI can provide immediate interaction but lacks the fundamental human relationship. This creates a question:

Can technology make human emotional support more scalable without turning it into an AI-only experience?

The missing layer

A structured layer between informal support and professional care.

Professional care

The Supporter is not intended to replace professional care. Instead, InTune explores whether trained Supporters can provide meaningful, structured human support while AI helps them perform that role more effectively.
